Jump a beat earlier than feels natural, commit fully to ducks instead of tapping them, and read obstacle clusters rather than reacting to the first cactus you see. Three: Classic is the original pace and the default. Night Rush starts faster, ramps up quicker, and flips to night twice as often. Zen holds a fixed, forgiving pace with no night cycle, which is useful for practicing jump and duck timing. Full details are on the modes page.

Pterodactyls join the obstacle mix once your score passes 150 in a given run. Early obstacles are cactus-only so new players can learn jump timing before duck timing becomes relevant too.

Night mode is purely a difficulty/visual shift, not a new set of rules — the same cactus and pterodactyl obstacles keep appearing, just against a darker sky and (in Classic and Night Rush) at a higher speed than when the run started. Zen mode never switches to night.

Yes. Your best score and games played for each mode are saved locally in your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and there is no account or login. Because the save lives on the device, a different phone, a new browser profile, or cleared site data will look like a fresh start.

Open Stats from the game menu, tap Reset progress, then confirm with the second tap. That clears best scores and games played for every mode on this browser. It cannot be undone.
