What we make
dinosaurgame.lol is the site behind our version of the dinosaur game. The product is a single-player endless runner: jump cacti, duck pterodactyls, and try to survive longer than your last run.
We are not an app store publisher and we do not require a download. The game is the website. That choice keeps load times short, works on phones and desktops, and avoids an account wall. Best scores and games played live in local browser storage on your device.
If you are comparing this to another dinosaur game clone you found elsewhere, this page only speaks for dinosaurgame.lol. Rules and modes described in our how-to-play guide and FAQ match this build of the game.
Our story
dinosaurgame.lol is not a content farm or a meta-game wrapped in ads. It is a reflex game with a clear fantasy: one dino, one desert, and a score you keep chasing.
Google Chrome added a hidden T-Rex runner as its offline error page in September 2014. Pressing Space while disconnected launched a full game, and it quietly became one of the most-played browser games in the world purely through a network error.
dinosaurgame.lol is an independent, standalone implementation of that same jump-and-duck idea, built for a modern browser: a canvas renderer, day/night cycles, three selectable modes, and a fast, ad-light interface instead of a cluttered clone page.
We build for players who want a pure reflex game they can open anywhere — phone on the couch, laptop between meetings — and feel real progress without clutter. dinosaurgame.lol exists to keep that experience sharp, fast, and free.
What we stand for
Open the page and the T-Rex is already running. No account wall, no download, no tutorial that talks over the fun — just jump and duck.
Classic is the original pace, selected by default. Night Rush raises the speed and darkens the sky sooner. Zen holds a fixed pace for relaxed practice.
Best scores live on your device. We do not hold your progress hostage behind a login, and there is no "premium" mode locked behind a paywall.
The full game is free forever. No energy meters, no ads breaking up a run, no surprise paywalls. If you enjoy dinosaurgame.lol, that is the whole product.
Who it is for
dinosaurgame.lol is a family-friendly, single-player game with no chat and no in-game store. It is a poor fit if you want multiplayer or live events. It is a good fit if you want a genuine reflex game you can pick up anywhere.
A run can last ten seconds or ten minutes. dinosaurgame.lol is built for a phone on the couch or a browser tab between tasks — not a two-hour campaign.
There is no board to study and no move to plan three turns ahead. The challenge is entirely in reaction time and reading obstacle shapes at speed.
Best scores stay on the device you used. That is a deliberate trade: instant play, no cloud restore. We would rather skip the sign-up wall than pretend we host your save.
Why this site
The dinosaur game is a well-known idea with hundreds of clones online. This site exists to ship one fast, honest version of it — with Classic, Night Rush, and Zen modes and no clutter.
Most dinosaur game clones only offer one fixed pace. dinosaurgame.lol adds Night Rush for players chasing a harder run and Zen for practice — not just a re-skin of the same speed curve.
The whole run — dino, obstacles, sky, parallax clouds — is drawn on a real-time canvas at 60fps, not a looping animation with a hitbox bolted on.
No auto-playing video ads, no fake "install our app" banners, no dark patterns around the mute button. The how-to-play guide, tips, and FAQ describe the exact engine you are playing, not a generic write-up.
How we build
dinosaurgame.lol runs entirely on the web. That means fast loads, keyboard, tap, and on-screen controls, and progress that stays local unless you clear your browser data. We use lightweight analytics so we can see what helps players — never to gate the game behind a profile. The same engine that runs on the home page is the one described in our public rules pages, so search results and the live game do not drift apart.
Desktop and mobile share the same canvas. Space/arrow keys, tap, or the on-screen Jump and Duck buttons — pick whatever fits the device in your hand.
Your best score per mode is stored locally. You own the continuity of your run without signing up.
We watch aggregate usage through Google Analytics to improve pacing and polish. Details live in our Privacy Policy — never as a sales pitch.
